Introducing exploration

Invitations for this week

Here are a few questions you might like take into your thinking time:

  • What is my child interested in at the moment?

  • What excites them?

  • How can I support that?

 

Practice trusting your child's agenda, noticing what your child is interested in. Doing nothing or saying nothing can be the hardest thing. Take a pause before you intervene to check in with yourself if it is really necessary. If you can help it - hold back and see what happens.

Notice how your child moves between 'watch over me', 'delight in me', 'help me' and 'enjoy with me'.
